Little Rock - Former Florida Attorney General Bob Butterworth has signed on with the Clark campaign. Butterworth will serve as the legal policy advisor to the Clark campaign's National Steering Committee.

"Wes Clark is the leader the Democratic Party is looking for," said Butterworth. "Clark is the candidate that is best prepared to lead Democrats to victory in Florida and across the country. He has a plan to get the economy going here at home and get us out of the mess in Iraq while refocusing on the war on terror."

Butterworth served as Florida's Attorney General for sixteen years. A leader in national and Florida Democratic politics, he was Chairman of the Gore campaign in Florida in 2000. He will join General Clark on the campaign trail on Sunday in New Hampshire.
