Clark Campaign Releases "What If" Ad

Manchester, NH - The Clark campaign released a new thirty-second ad today, the first in a series the campaign will be running in the coming weeks telling the story of the leadership General Clark has shown throughout his life and how those experiences directly relate to the challenges our country faces today. This new ad, titled What If, focuses on his leadership in the military, his role in forging the Bosnian peace accords and commanding the war in Kosovo and how this directly relates to making America secure at home today.

It includes a number of images from his life and career, including one of President Clinton awarding him the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his leadership in Kosovo.

The ad began running today in New Hampshire and is slated to run in several other states in the coming weeks.

Ad script:

Text: What if we could have a President?

Voice: What if we could have a president who in his lifetime has seen ordinary people do extraordinary things? Because he believed in them. Who was decorated for valor and service to our country. Who helped negotiate a peace.

Text: Helped negotiate the Bosnia Peace Accords

Voice: And has dedicated his life to protecting our country. Because like you he believes America is ready to do great things. A new American leader.

Clark: I'm Wes Clark and I approve this message.
